The philosophy of the Accent on Learning Child Care Center is based upon the understanding that all children are unique. It understands that the uniqueness of the child is expressed in many ways including personality, rates of development, cognitive, physical and social growth. It recognizes that self-esteem is built within a child, by establishing realistic, age appropriate, individualized goals that are acknowledged by the staff. It is understood that a quality program has a nurturing, warm, caring staff who will share with the parent or guardian the ongoing progress of their child. Parents or guardians will enjoy peace of mind, with the knowledge, that their child is receiving qualitycare. A key element is this partnership between the parents or guardians and the Center Staff. The daily activities and environment at Accent on Learning Child Care Center will promote acceptance and awareness of different abilities, cultures and beliefs.
